Talk:Elf Barker
I hope this isn't all within the same ascension, considering I worked my way up to about 4700 isotopes before cashing in (3 Luniform outfit pieces and some epic foods/boozes)... --Quietust (t|c) 00:40, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
- It's not. I ascended without looking for a trophy, and it's still there. Same for a clannie. --Flargen 03:26, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
Looks like it was displaying wrong or they bumped it down, it's now saying " You're entitled to the "Elf Barker" trophy, for winning 2,000 lunar isotopes from Porko!"
Is this a NET win of 2000 lunar isotopes, or merely a gross win? For example, if I spent 1 lunar isotope and won 1 back 2000 times in a row, would I qualify for the trophy, or would it only count as winning 0 isotopes? --Glukthar 14:40, 18 July 2011 (CEST)
It should be a NET win. I had way less than 2000 isotopes when I was eligible for the trophy. --[User:Pazsox|Pazsox]] 20:11, 19, July 2011 (EST)
That would be a GROSS win. By net win, I mean, you wager 1 isotope, let's say you win 9. That would be a net win (gain) of 8 isotopes, gross of 9. --Glukthar 17:06, 20 July 2011 (CEST)
It still could be either, since Pazsox could have spent some isotopes. I suspect this when he says he "had way less than 2000." The trophy is for winnings, not holdings. If it's net win, this requires a minimum of 250 adventures (not including the quest to unlock paradise). If it's a gross win, this requires a minimum of 223 adventures. That's a lot of porko. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 19:53, 20 July 2011 (CEST)
- Thinking more about it, "had way less than 2000" would actually be expected if it were gross win and many wins were a low. Also the game does tell you "You won yourself N isotopes" after each set of three plays. It's quite reasonable to expect it is that N that counts towards the 2000. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 22:03, 20 July 2011 (CEST)
It is for gross wins. I just got the trophy and tracked my net and gross wins closely. When I got the trophy, I had around 2025 gross wins and about 1600 net wins. --Kpsmith67 18:01, 10 October 2011 (CEST)
