- are you using mafia? if you are, then give the mafia people all the info you have. if not, and you have screenshots, report this is as a bug via the "report bug" link. they've been dicking with stuff, and no matter how unlikely this sounds you may be onto something. --Evilkolbot (talk) 11:34, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
- when you encountered the cadaver, were you adventuring in megaopolois? I can imagine Jick doing a hack 'zone==megaopolis, 'creature.elemental == spooky' -> give essence of fright'... might be worth putting in a bug report (if its not a mafia bug)--Grimdel (talk) 14:53, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
Obtained Essence from Scary Pirate
This is without mafia, adventuring in megalopolis with a scary pirate badly-romantic-arrowed. So Grimdel's premise is probably right. Though these things are supposed to only drop after specific attack messages. Bug reported, anyway.
