Talk:Falling Leaf Whirlwind

Did some initial spading on this, and the result is pretty startling.

I equipped a haiku katana in a Disembodied Hand, which allowed for the standard method of testing deleveling. Against monsters in the Haunted Gallery, I delevelled an average 30-34 levels, with once instance of delevelling 36. I upped my muscle and tried the ducks. This time, I delevelled 51-57 levels. Essentially, the delevel amount appears to depend on ML, but more spading is needed.--Foggy 20:21, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

After comparing Monster Defense to deleveling amount, and being dissatisfied with a more accurate correlation, I tried comparing Monster Attack using the dwarvish war helmet. This appears to be much closer to the formula.

I can confirm it affects MA as well as MD. I fought post-war cave hippies, which at the time could do 100+ damage. After one use of the skill, damage dropped to 50-ish.--Foggy 20:51, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
