Talk:Family of kobolds

From A KoL Wiki

It drops the Kobold treasure hoard, right? --Notsupposedtobehere 14:43, 9 October 2011 (CEST)

So they're ridiculously powerful, but they can be stunned, so that gives you several rounds to work out a kill strategy. --Ailuro Dragon 08:40, 10 October 2011 (CEST)

Stat gain spading anyone? got the following with +10 ml and no stat familiar You gain 16982 Strongness You gain 6503 Wizardliness You gain 5925 Roguishness --Dannyboy 06:16, 13 October 2011 (CEST)

So does anyone know how many HP they have? That'd be great to know--maybe I'll throw on the Dwarven War Uniform and check it out. 100d4 is 250 on average--is that even close to right? Not like I'd wanna waste millions to be wrong. And has anyone ever lost initiative to them in normal circumstances? --maharito 03:54, 14 October 2011 (CEST)

I killed them using pixel watches and pufferfish spines pretty quickly. Watch the combat messages for the pixel watch and make sure you don't use another pixel watch before the first counter expires since using another one won't add to or reset the counter. I died because of that hard lesson. --Zaranthos 22:07, 3 December 2011 (CET)

Much easier to use finger cuffs. --Starwed 04:58, 22 December 2011 (CET)

So, who wants to do a Softcore Zombie Slayer run so they can pull a hundred dice and induct an entire family into their horde with one massive Bear Hug (or find out that they're immune)? ;) Too bad Casual ZS isn't possible, right? --Terion 22:49, 26 September 2012 (CEST)

The page says they're immune to insta-kill by yellow ray, which means they're probably immune to insta-kill by Bear Hug. --Johnny Treehugger 23:27, 26 September 2012 (CEST)

Are these a reference to Tucker's Kobolds? The hit die of a Kobold is 1d4, after all. Should that be added to the page? --ShiraShira 15:25 24 December 2012 (EST)

  • The 1d4 bit is possibly relevant, I don't see any connection to Tucker's: "A few years later, in Roger Moore's editorial Tucker's kobolds in Dragon #127 (November 1987), a scenario is described where a band of well-prepared kobolds uses guerrilla tactics to significantly challenge a far more powerful party of adventurers." (from wikipedia:Kobold (Dungeons & Dragons)). --Club (#66669) (Talk) 02:04, 25 December 2012 (CET)
