Talk:Fettucini Inconnu
"Jick often says that you need to eat 227 Fettucini Inconnu to get a trophy. This is a non-spoiler way of referring to the herb brownies and its trophy. "
Ehh? How does it refer to the herb brownies trophy? Is there really one for eating this many Fettucini dishes? (doubt it) --Someone Else 14:15, 7 June 2006 (CDT)
- There isn't a trophy (as far as anyone knows). During a radio show, if someone asks about trophy spoilers or just trophies in general, Jick may say something about the "227 fettucini inconnu trophy". I've never really thought about it as just a reference to the hippy trophy. *shrug* --Ricket 11:30, 8 June 2006 (CDT)
Anyone think it'd be appropriate to include some sort of note as to the proper pronunciation of Inconnu (namely, "in canoe", as indicated on a recent radio show)? --Quietust 16:55, 20 July 2006 (CDT)
It's much closer to "ann canoe", or almost "ehh canoe". It's very nasal. (What did you expect, it's French!) --Listen2Reason 17:44, 24 September 2006 (CDT)
The proper, French pronunciation is "ar connoe" - not "in canoe".--Jubbers 18:51, 24 September 2006 (CDT)
- Two eaten. 225 to go ^^ We have to test it, don't we? --Zigota Lt 09:35, 5 October 2006 (CDT)
- I've eaten 227 of these and no trophy. Dammit. --Zigota Lt 03:23, 30 December 2006 (CST)
Does the name Inconnu have something to do with the player Inconnu?
- Most of the Reagent dishes were named for early players. Skullheads and Nietzsche were both, as I recall. If there is a player named Hell, which wouldn't surprise me by now at least, then likely the pattern is complete. Otherwise it would just be a reference to the recipe itself.--Lukarnis 14:34, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
