Talk:First Mate's Log Entry Eight: Resurrection

From A KoL Wiki

Is the adventure title correct? I got "Insurrection" instead of "Resurrection". Are there two possible titles?

I suggest you check out First Mate's Log Entry Eight: Insurrection. They're two separate adventures. This one occurs five adventures before Insurrection, and is actually the ninth log despite the title. --Cannonfire40 07:23, 31 January 2013 (CET)

Ah, that explains it. Thanks. --Chickencha 08:25, 31 January 2013 (CET)

Four choices (possibly affected by choice in previous log entries) :

Splash in the Water
Draw a Big Storm Cloud on the Shower Wall
Knock an Action Figure Overboard
Submerge some Bubbles

Picked Splash in the Water (Unlocks Bristled Man-O-War)

The calm surface of the lukewarm sea was disturbed until it became a roiling whirlpool that threatened to suck the entire ship down to Mike Nesmith's locker. From the middle of the maelstrom there arose a fearsome jellyfish, with a massive soft dome covering fierce spear-like bristles.

Hot winds from the South, becalmed ocean. We are dazed, sunstruck, and becalmed. We begin to question the Captain's wisdom in filling our hold with foam and crayons instead of food and water. Yeoman Meyers was so delirious with cabin fever that he leapt into the water, and when we fished him out he lay on the deck like a dead man. It wasn't until we were halfway through building his funeral pyre that he came to his senses again. Clearly, we cannot go on this way.

  • Build a bubble mountain
  • Ask mom for more bath toys
  • Draw a bunch of coconuts with crayons

Choice 1:

"Land ho!" the lookout shouted from his perch atop the main mast. And lo, an island made of some strange foamy material had arisen from the unknowable depths. The Captain steered the ship aground onto the island, and the foam dissolved as the ship ran aground upon it.

A ragtag group of castaways staggered to the shore, hungry and skeletal, their eyes burning with fever; they begged to join our crew and the Captain did not refuse them. --Evilkolbot 23:07, 4 January 2013 (CET)
