The waters around the ship began to swirl, faster and faster, until the ship was circling the edge of a vast whirlpool. "We must lose some ballast or we're sharkbait for sure!" the Captain said, and the crew hurled the treasure overboard, foam and crayons alike. The ship listed crazily to starboard, and a few of the crew fell in and were instantly swallowed by the raging sea. Still the ship circled the rim of the spout, faster and faster.

A quarrel broke out today between Crewman Jackman and Yeoman Hathaway, as the latter accused the former of stealing his family jewels. After a few chuckles from the entire crew, Yeoman Hathaway elaborated that he had a snuffbox with tiny diamonds in it, made from the compressed ashes of his great-grandfather. Crewman Jackman insisted that he had never seen a snuffbox full of diamonds, a protestation that rang empty when he sneezed and his handkerchief glistened. The Captain determined it was an honest mistake, however, and gave extra grog to the entire crew to smooth any hard feelings.

The Captain ordered the crew to release depth charges made from our precious foam supply. The crew respectfully questioned the captain's decision, but he explained the foam would slow the foul creatures of the deep that beset our cursed voyage. --Evilkolbot 23:03, 4 January 2013 (CET)
