Talk:Flesh Mob
i believe that the damage formula for this skill is HordeSize + Muscle + Regular weapon attack damage. i hit war hippy monsters for ~600 with my muscle around 230 and my horde around the same size. trying to hit them normally also shows that Flesh Mob may have a slightly higher to hit chance than regular attacks.--The ErosionSeeker 02:30, 16 October 2012 (CEST)
Actually, I've seen strong evidence that a) damage is a multiplicative factor between muscle and horde size (possibly with some square roots thrown in), and monster defense is factored in (dealing less damage to monsters without a soft damage cap but with higher defense), and b) the miss chance is also highly related to horde size, even moreso than muscle (demolishing monsters I normally can't hit at all with a huge horde, but failing to hit monsters I can OHKO with kodiak moment thanks to my horde being small.
- So 2 * [ Horde * Muscle + 2 * Attack ] subtracted by monsterDef? #PullingNumbersOutofMyAss --The ErosionSeeker 20:01, 20 October 2012 (CEST)
I think the damage formula might be something more like Weapon Damage*5. I doubt that this is the exact formula, but it seems to be pretty close for a Level 6-9 character against similar level enemies. I have not found any relation to horde size. I have also not noticed any obvious interaction between horde size and miss chance. Critical hits do occur with Flesh Mob, and they seem to be roughly twice what it would ordinarily do eg: normal 279, crit 548. I can post data if anyone wants it, but it's gonna be very cumbersome.--Tainted Food Product 00:02, 21 October 2012 (CEST)
- Could be the Zombish equivalent of Cleave or something? --Johnny Treehugger 02:18, 21 October 2012 (CEST)
- today, with 230 muscle and a 206 horde (208 pre-skill), i dealt 688 damage on a war hippy. a couple of turns later with 254 muscle and a horde of 114, i could only deal 300 with flesh mob. horde size is DEFINITELY related to damage, and probably related to +hit chance (20% of horde = +hit%?).--The ErosionSeeker 21:10, 11 November 2012 (CET)
- With a horde of 10 (12), i dealt a pitifully low 36 damage on a War Hippy Mobile Sweat Lodge (about as much as i could hit them for with a regular attack). DEFINITELY related to horde size.--The ErosionSeeker 23:33, 15 November 2012 (CET)

- 577 damage from a horde size of about 195.
- Lost (Wisniewski) and increased horde (also added in a Ben-Gal). So other factors were controlled.
- 1159 from horde 358.
- 1104 from horde 352.
- Only other note is that I missed a few times, and had reason to (i.e. muscle within range of his defense), and that my +sleaze damage was in effect. So probably something like weapon damage times some factor of horde, or weapon damage plus some factor of horde. --Raijinili 12:50, 23 November 2012 (CET)
- More data, but unorganized: https://www.dropbox.com/s/uokgv30vkc7bq1p/flesh%20mob%20spading.txt?m
- Theory: There is a multiplier of about HordeSize/10 on your weapon power.
- Also, if there's a higher to-hit chance... Mafia was reporting 225 Muscle to Wisniewski's 220 defense when I missed (if I remember correctly), so I don't think so. --Raijinili 13:21, 23 November 2012 (CET)
- Got more data and I'm sure of it. I posted the conclusion on the page. Not sure about whether there's rounding, but someone else can test 10, 20, and 15. Oddly, I did 105 on a crit with a pow200 weapon, 1 muscle, +20% wpndmg, 3 horde, and 10/3/4 zombie skills. I'd expect a max of a little more than 40*2*1.2 = 96 damage. --Raijinili 16:02, 23 November 2012 (CET)
A few different setups:
1-2 weapon damage (7-8 damage expected), 110 horde size, damage dealt: 34, 20, 20, 20, 34.
2-4 weapon damage (8-11 damage expected), 100 horde size, damage dealt: 32, 32, 45
1-2 weapon damage (22-24 damage expected), 15 horde size, damage dealt: 27, 27, 27, 24
1-2 weapon damage (24-25 damage expected), 10 horde size, damage dealt: 25, 27
1-2 weapon damage (24-25 damage expected), 8 horde size, damage dealt: 24, 26
1-2 weapon damage (24-25 damage expected), 6 horde size, damage dealt: 26
1-2 weapon damage (24-25 damage expected), 4 horde size, damage dealt: 24, 26, 26
1-2 weapon damage (24-25 damage expected), 2 horde size, damage dealt: 25
The bonus actually seems to be (horde size/10)+1. --TechSmurf (talk) 05:08, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
