Talk:Floaty rock

From A KoL Wiki

There's probably a rule that like "the wiki isn't for speculation," although maybe that only applies to the pages themselves and not the talk pages, but a floating rock was used in final fantasy 1 to make the airship. KoL already HAS its share of airships, but you never know. Spading along this train of thought might find something. --Santasassassin 06:14, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

  • I don't think there's any rule against putting speculation in the wiki. it's not really the point of the wiki, but I don't think it's forbidden. Then again, I also don't think there's any rule against putting speculation about "rules against putting speculation in the wiki" in the wiki, either. Maybe there's a rule against speculating about a rule against speculating about such a rule, though. Maybe! --TedPro 02:39, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
    • Wait, there's rules here?!? --Dunsel 21:09, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
      • yup, but they're not all written down all of the time. one i've just pulled out of my special magic pocket would go like this "no speculation in the main space, put it in talk and you'll be ace." relevance is, of course, much treasured. as far as making airships goes, we sort of already have to. --Evilkolbot 21:50, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Has anyone tried meatsmithing 5 of these together?--Ekimekim 00:45, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Not entirely sure anyone HAS 5 of them yet. Even the various people collecting them in their DCs are only up to 4. I'll try it once I get 5, though (right now I have 4 rocks, 1 pebble, and 4 sand). Douglas Hossenfeffer 23:56, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
Update - Floaty Rock doesn't show up under any heading other than smithing, and can't be smithed into each other. Having five of them doesn't let you Malus them into anything larger. Douglas Hossenfeffer 05:25, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
