I faced them in the Menagerie, Level 1. I gained 9 Strongness, 7 Magicalness, and 13 Sarcasm with a +2.24 exp. bonus. Me and My nemesis quest dialog: Bam! So much for your Nemesis' assassins! If that's the best they've got, you have nothing at all to worry about.

For me, they seem to have been the third encounter in this series. First, Menacing thug, then Mob Penguin hitman, now these guys, err... birds.--Hastifer 19:06, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

I just got this adventure for what I think is the second time this ascension. Assuming I'm not recalling the last couple hours incorrectly, I got thug - penguin - seagulls - seagulls. Looks like it doesn't matter where you adventure, you just encounter them as third part of the Nemesis quest after the cave. I just encountered them in the sewers leading to Hobopolis.--Ghsh 23:29, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

I'm guesing you had Ruby Rod equipped, so sounds like a bug related to the rod (which should give the disc against a 7-Foot Dwarf Replicant). Bug report it *shrug*. --Lordebon 02:15, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
