Talk:Fossilized necklace
Dropped from a fossilized bat, accessory. Killing other fossil animals with it gives teeth. Serpent tooth is +(2?)spell damage, baboon tooth is +(3?)weapon damage--Tray 06:37, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
Bat tooth is +2 to All Attributes, from what I discovered. Qaianna 07:17, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
Baboon: +3 weapon damage Bat: +2 to all Serpent:+2 spell damage Wyrm: +3% to all
As far as I can tell, it's a max of 5 of a type of teeth. I'm not about to try making more wyrms and serpents to spade that o_O Still...+15 weapon damage isn't bad, spell damage +10 is...meh, but the +10 and +15% to all attributes is *very* nice at higher levels! --Jimfromtx 07:23, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
I have completed my necklace and hve got the above stats. However you can add more teeth to your necklaces. BUT 5 of each tooth is how much you need to gain the full stats. The only thing that changes is the tooth count. I have only tried up to 7 baboon teeth and no change.
Reset upon ascension?
Does anyone know if the enchantments for the necklace reset after ascension?--Meat Curious 17:59, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- How would we know that? It hasn't existed for a full day yet.--Terrabull 18:21, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- Actually I was going to ask the same question. The day Unaccompanied Miner rolled out, someone already had permed it. And it's better to ask as long as the topic is still hot. --Yatsufusa 20:32, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- Collected 4 teeth. Ascended. Pulled the necklace. Examined it. It still has all 4 tooth additions. I hope this isn't just an error ... -- Ruby Eyes 20:49, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
- It's been confirmed in the forums that the necklace toothcount is NOT reset upon ascension. -- stealer of meat 8:08, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

Fossilized animal skeleton damage
The damage seems to be proportional to the max HP. Yesterday I fought a serpent skeleton and had ~320 hp max - it dealt ~25-30 damage. Wearing the exact same equipment (except I added Sea salt scrubs which raised my hp by 400) and the exact same enchantments and the same familiar, it now does 78 damage (my max hp is 770 now). The only other change is that I gained a few muscle/myst/moxie points from farming. Sorry I don't have more spading, but maybe I'm on to something? - mdavidson, 9/15/2010, 9:10 PDT
Pulverize
Can the fossilized necklace be pulverized? If so, is it possible to acquire another one (and will it remember any teeth you previously acquired)? --Quietust (t|c) 13:28, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
- Yes on all three counts. --Salculd 08:38, 23 August 2011 (CEST)
