Talk:Friend of the Devils
Ak'gyxoth
Tatter doesn't count, but does Ak? You can summon him as many times as you want, but he's special. --Golden cow2 17:14, 10 August 2008 (CDT)
- Yes, he does. I've been summoning Ak'gyxoth for the last two weeks, and this weekend i was finally eligible for the trophy. --Euan 21:04, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
Jeremiah was a bullfrog is a song reference to someone a guy couldn't understand, but you helped him drink his wine.
So I'm thinking... evil foods consumption or imp ale?
Lyrics = http://www.angelfire.com/ia/jok/song133.html --MrAndersonMan 10:29, 11 August 2007 (CDT)
It is also written by someone with a connection to a game area. and refers to fish in the sea. so, here's some consumption info i had when i got it: fine wine: +30; fourth glyph wine: 30; all golden arches food: +30; gremlin mutagen: around 30; demon summoning: around 30 of 'fit to be tide'. I have not ascended since ns13 rolled out. --Snarl 11:20, 11 August 2007 (CDT)
i think that the evil food is not related, and you get the trophy by summoning a demon (it doesn't matter which demon) 30 times. thats my theory. --Shualdon 13:14, 11 August 2007 (CDT)
Maybe if you get all seven of the Bad Moon skills? --Erishiku 17:54, 11 August 2007 (CDT)
- According to Meansucker's_House, They can't be permed.--RPGMarker35 17:57, 11 August 2007 (CDT)
- He could have meant simply obtaining them, without perming. However, getting to Bad Moon requires ascending at least twice post-NS13, while Snarl hasn't ascended at all. --Deusnoctum 18:46, 12 August 2007 (CDT)
- I bet his trophy has something to do with learning a certain (large?) amount of demon names for use in the Summoning Chamber (and maybe even summoning each of them?). --JRSiebz (☎|§|‡) 03:05, 13 August 2007 (CDT)
- I personally like the "summon a demon 30 times" theory. I also like the wine-drinking - "helped him drink his wine", but a lot of people would have it if that was all. Maybe both? Or maybe that's just a cool song? --Fujiko 14:28, 13 August 2007 (CDT)
- currently, all evidence points to this being at least 30 or more summons of the same demon in one ascension. whether it can be another demon than what i used, and as well as consuming other 'evil' items still has to be ascertained. --Snarl 05:58, 14 August 2007 (CDT)
- trophy hut text is something very much like 'for consorting with so much evil', but i suck and didn't copy it. --Snarl 05:58, 14 August 2007 (CDT)
Just so everyone knows, you don't get it for putting "Jeremiah" for a demon name. Ershatz 00:01, 14 August 2007 (CDT)
- Based on what Snarl wrote, this trophy obviously comes from the summoning chamber as the reward for summoning all of the available demons or summoning a certain number of demons (I agree with 30) in a single ascension. Also, this will greatly inflate the price for scrolls of AFUE, for people wondering. 8:55 PM EST, August 14, 2007 Coogi Hat
- The price will spike only briefly, and probably not very high. I happened to get in on the initial price spike on AFUEs (when Crossroads and made a fair amount of meat on it...then lost a bunch of money when I tried to continue milking the market. The prices probably will go up less than they did last time, since this one requires fewer scrolls and far longer to get (i.e., less mass purchasing and fewer people who will attempt it). --Deusnoctum 02:46, 15 August 2007 (CDT)
- It is not for summoning all of the demons. I did that in one run with no result. Likely, it is for summoning 30 demons in a single ascension. Landar 06:13, 15 August 2007 (CDT)
Another player, Murphy Brawn, has gained the trophy and kmailed me to share the information that 'I did not need to know all of the demon names to get the trophy. I mostly summoned the preternatural greed one, but I have no idea how often.' So it is not limited to one certain type of demon summoning. --Snarl 15:50, 17 August 2007 (CDT)
yet another player gained the trophy, just by using 30 summons of demons (none in particular) across two ascensions.--Snarl 12:41, 19 August 2007 (CDT.)
so.. can we agree that you get this trophy by summoning 30 not-particular demons, and on multiple ascensions?? --Shualdon 17:57, 19 August 2007 (CDT)
Another possible way to obtain this trophy is to eat a certain amount of Double Bacon Beelzebob Burgers, Lord of the flies size fries, Jumbo Dr. Lucifer and Bromstone Chicken Sandwhiches. --Zanchvegas 22:39, 23 August 2007 (EST)
- to Zanchvegas: Are you asking a question? How do you know eating evil arches food will qualify you to get this trophy? The trophy is not on display on your profile. --Arms4490 12:04, 25 August 2007 (CDT)
- Pretty sure he means that is could be a possibility. I doubt that that's how you get it, though.NoidMan 13:11, 25 August 2007 (CDT)
- I was trying to add my theories on how it might be accomplished, since nothing had been confirmed at that point. I can see in reading the message that it is confusing. I will try to make additions more clearly in the future. Sorry everyone. --Zanchvegas 16:55, 30 August 2007 (EST)
- Pretty sure he means that is could be a possibility. I doubt that that's how you get it, though.NoidMan 13:11, 25 August 2007 (CDT)
- The 30 demon summons sounds very reasonable. I bet the wine reference in the song is just related to the fact that you go to the wine cellar to summon.
- The summoning X number of demons over multiple lifetimes theory does make sense, given the fact that you keep your demon names throughout your ascensions.--Chira-chan 11:45, 27 August 2007 (CDT)
It is definitely 30 demons summons across any number of ascensions. You can use any combination of the available demon names you wish. I earned the trophy on my 30th summon across two ascensions. I summoned at least five of each demon name, although most of it was the Fit To Be Tide one. Landar 21:51, 3 September 2007 (CDT)
got the trophy today and added the trophy maker text... :) --Shualdon 01:55, 4 September 2007 (CDT)
Just to be clear, I can learn one demon name and summon that one demon 30 times and still get the trophy? Thx. --Rheinhold 03:30, 11 September 2007 (CDT)
I have reason to believe that this trophy requires you to summon each demon at least once, as I'm quite sure I've summoned my meat demon more than 30 times, and am not eligible for the trophy. I'll know in two days. --Istanbul 16:08, 07 October 2007 (CDT)
- I now have confirmation that each demon must be summoned at least once in order for you to qualify for the trophy. I have edited the Wiki to reflect this. --Istanbul 23:55, 08 October 2007 (CDT)
- I now have confirmation that you don't need to summon each demon name. I never got the Bathroom OR the accidental demon name, and used the Preternatural Greed demon name, like, 28 times, and the other two once. Or something like that. But I didn't get at least two demon names. I'll edit the page to reflect this. --Acdr 10:34, 17 October 2007 (CDT)
•I summoned the spooky forest demon 30 times and got the trophy today. It is definitely not every name at least once.
that has been established. sign your posts.--El taco 02:21, 27 October 2007 (CDT)
confusing text
I have heard no end of people, myself included, who found the text confusing. They (and I) thought that 30 different demons needed to be summoned. I tried to clarify as much as possible.

And -- I think this needs better spading. I have visited the summoning chamber much more than 30 times, and still am not eligible for this trophy. However I have only summoned two different demons. (Three if you count Tatter) --Barbarian7 10:34, 8 April 2008 (CDT)
- I've had the same problem. I've summoned the Fit To Be Tide demon most days in the past month, so I've definitely summoned 30 demons overall. I have yet to find the pies demon name, which may be the problem, but I've summoned all the Ear Trumpet demons at least once.--DoctorWorm 08:18, 25 July 2008 (CDT)
- I should be darn near or past 30 summons as well. Either it's one ascension or more likely I need to summon the 2 or 3 demons I have not summoned. I guess I'll be summoning the last few in the coming days. --SilentKnight 19:14, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
- It's definitely not one ascension. I got the trophy from summoning basically only my Meat demon and Ak'gyxoth (and one Tatter). Didn't even have any of the other demon names. --RoyalTonberry 19:41, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
