Note: All my initial batch of statistics above (Oct. 14, 2008) were collected with makeshift SCUBA gear, hypnodisk, gravy-covered maypole, two mr. accessory jrs, barrrnacle, a few skills on different characters, and random other equipment which don't affect item drops. I note this here in case it is later discovered that certain things don't affect drops in this zone--Yiab 18:53, 14 October 2008 (UTC).
I don't know if this'll be any help in spading the monster's attack and defense, but I've been spending some time in the Sea as a Level 16 Disco Bandit, with buffed moxie 312, wielding a Rainbow Crossbow. The Funk Sole Brother is the only one I have trouble hitting, though only the Pumped-up Bass hits me consistently. One Disco Face Stab lets me hit the sole brother part of the time, and two seems to guarantee it. So it seems its defense is over 312, but not by too much. It also seems that the three fish in this zone correspond to the three stat classes, one easy to hit but with high HP and high damage, another hard to hit but not able to dish out much damage in return, and the third flinging spells, obviously this must have been intentional.--Phantomreader42 03:32, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
