Does anyone know if the keys are conditional drops? If they are not, then this trophy could be gotten in 5 adventures...--Mr. Green 18:22, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Pickpocketing Keys
Umm, if you steal the keys, do they still count?
- According to the notes section: "It is currently unknown whether or not keys acquired through pickpocketing count towards the trophy. It is presumed they don't." However, I have been working on this trophy, checking back into the trophy hut every time I get another key, and I just got what I thought was my ninth key, but was apparently my tenth, because the trophy is now available. I am almost certain that at least one of the keys was pickpocketed. --Bess 23:47, 12 February 2007 (CST)
- Confirmed. I have attained 11 clockwork keys with pickpocketing and regular drops and I do not qualify for the trophy. --Tripwood 00:37, 10 May 2007 (CDT)
Do I need to collect the keys and have them all at once, or do I get the trophy also if I use the keys? --Dorham 08:13, 13 February 2006 (Central Standard Time)
- The following line is in the notes section: "You need not have all the keys in your possession. Just find 10 keys total, obtained in the Thugnderdome." --Ricket 09:15, 13 February 2006 (Central Standard Time)
- Is this in any type of ascension, or only hardcore, etc?--Cowdude101 06:16, 23 March 2006 (CST)
- Any type. It's easiest in Softcore, of course. --jin 19:07, 23 March 2006 (CST)
- I was wondering if anyone had tried getting 100 clockwork keys from the Thugnderdome, for a new trophy...it's possible that the Dav's added it later, no? --Animus 01:25, 20 May 2006 (CDT)
Toolbox
Can anyone tell if using a toolbox and getting one would count?--Wallawalla23 14:52, 7 September 2006 (CDT)
From the Gnomish toolbox article: "Clockwork keys that come from Gnomish toolboxes don't seem to count toward getting the Gadget Inspector Trophy." Answer your question? It should. --Ηúηţêř ťĥẽ Ŕéļáţīv€ļ¥ ĜΘΘÐ (Ţâĺķ | Ćņťβ§) 20:43, 27 October 2006 (CDT)
Inconsistency
Um. Here it says, "Keys acquired through pickpocketing do not count towards the trophy.", but on the pages of both the monsters that drop clockwork keys, it says "Neither of the clockwork keys can be pickpocketed.". If they can't be pickpocketed, how can pickpocketed keys not count? They don't exist! --Littlebeast 01:04, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
Going for the gadget inspector trophy with my initiative boosted as high as possible. If it is possible to pickpocket a key I should hit at least one by the time I obtain ten keys normally... This is going to take a while, though Edit: I did not get any keys. If someone else confirms, I would say its safe to edit that bit out. -- Gringrim Dec 3, 2009
