Talk:Giant bee
invader zim reference!?!--Fly boy42 00:37, 28 June 2007 (CDT)
The message is:
It stings you in the body. I can't really be more specific than that, because its stinger is so large. Ooh! Ooh! Oof! Ouch! Ugh! Ugh! Ow! Argh! Ooh! Ooh!
Then at the end it says: That is one gigantic bee. I don't think you're gonna win this one by force. --Circaea 11:29, 7 July 2007 (CDT)
I thought that the bee/UFO thing was a Far Side reference. A UFO is crashed and one alien says to the the other, "One bee! One lousy bee gets inside and you freak out!"--Yellow birdy 00:39, 14 July 2007 (CDT)
Why does the bee have a beard? Tuck999 23:41, 15 August 2007 (CDT)
Because it's a Giant. Giants have beards. And then it's part bee.--MaskedLihc 00:25, 16 August 2007 (CDT)
Actually I think it also might be a reference to the Order of the Stick creator Rich Burlew "The Giant". The head of the bee really looks a lot like the way he draws himself. --Jenx 16:45, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- How many different ways are there to draw a guy's face with a beard? Eran of Arcadia 16:47, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- I can think of at least 6 right off the top of my head. And that's just plain stick figures with minimal detail. --Jenx 11:56, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, I think all of these are wrong. It has a beard so it looks like MotH, the player. At least, that's what I've always believed.--Tray 17:28, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
I just killed off the giant bee with a baby sandworm as my familiar (45 pounds for the record) and the stat gains were only "You gain 13 Strengthliness. You gain 10 Wizardliness. You gain 17 Sarcasm." Is this the same for the other level 6 tower monsters? --Kenny 15:12, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
- Your sandworm dropped an agua de vida that combat. When the sandworm drops an agua, its statgain function doesn't fire. --Hellion 17:35, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
