Talk:Gnefarious Pickpocketing
From A KoL Wiki
- I just put up some stats at the Talk:Knott Yeti page for an adventure with Gnefarious Pickpocketing. ~200 adventures, and the overall increase in meat was 19.25 per adventure, or an increase of 9.62%. I know there is a way to calculate the odds of such an event happening (with a normal 160-240 spread), but it's been a while since I took statistics. Anyone know how to determine, statistically, if this is significant enough? Even without the math to prove, I think the evidence points toward GP being a 10% gain in meat drop. --Snickles 20:13, 12 Sep 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
5,000 is 10% of 50,000
Therefore, buying this skill will not be cost-effective (reach it's break-even point) until you would have gained a total of 50,000 meat just through combat with monsters. --BaruMonkey 10:44, 25 January 2008 (CST)
