Looks like a delevel to me. The enemy I tested it on definitely attacked back the same round, so no stun, but it did seem to have a harder time hitting me afterwards. --ManaUser 00:35, 17 December 2007 (CST)

Picking Pockets
The description seems to indicate that this is the enemy you fought, but I pick-pocketed the thing before beating up the golden ring. Probably not significant, but amusing. Kilyle 18:29, 17 December 2007 (CST)
I have 6 of the item the first day(which would only normally give 5) because I was beaten up. You could also flee after stealing and get as many as you'd like to spend turns on I think.--Wylin 18:39, 17 December 2007 (CST)
I picked up a few of these today, and the description now reads "This is a hefty golden ring. It's lost some of its luster since you beat the crap out of it (or pickpocketed it from another golden ring you were fighting), but it's still sort of shiny." -Revier 10:39, 19 December 2007 (CST)
Delevelling
In 22 uses, plus the 5 from earlier, I did not have a single instance where it stunned the opponent. If someone is actually seeing it stun, I'd like to know what else they have equipped.
