Talk:Gorgolok, the Demonic Hellseal
Heres the pic --Fhthd 14:50, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
Just noticed this, looks like you can break those shield thingys if you do enough damage in one go. --Fhthd 14:54, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
He has 6 "shields". Each attack before they are broken deals 0 damage to Gorgolok but damage to the shields. Enough damage breaks one shield per attack (1 one-hit killed them, but then I was a level 16 SC). After the shields are down you can start hitting Gorgolok. Winterbay 14:58, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
It takes 101+ damage in one hit with your Sledgehammer to break a shield. 100 still gives the insufficient damage message. --Garfnobl 17:00, 23 February 2010 (UTC) I can confirm this. 102 damage broke a shield for me a moment ago. --Muhfin 12:29, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
This is the full start image:
And this would be the view after all are broken I guess:

More item drops, but only if complete the maze
Currently only one of the item drops is listed. If you complete the maze properly you will get the following drops after the fight:
Claw of the Infernal Seal
Instant Karma
heart of the volcano --Remnant 07:03, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
According to the Adventure again link, this seems to occur in The Nemesis' Lair "Adventure Again (The Nemesis' Lair)" --JRSiebz (☎|§|‡) 08:39, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
You're fighting Gorgolok, the Demonic HellsealYou twiddle your thumbs. is the text you get when twiddling your thumbs in chrome. I'm pretty sure this is nothing like the twiddling your thumbs message you normally get. I'm not editing anything because I'm none to proficient at that and I'm pretty damned drunk. (also: yes, that spacing in the message is exactly as I saw it in the combat). Kindadeadguy 02:23, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
Some Kind of DR?
So I started fighting the thing, and noticed that my spooky damage was doing 6 damage instead of 10 (with Snarl of Timberwolf). 40% damage reduction/absorption? Somebody spade or something. Argus 06:32, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- If you look at the infobox on the page, it's already noted that he has 40% elemental resistance. --timrem 11:40, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
drink
I am admittedly cheating on this one. I ran out of turns before I could recharge my siphon. Given that nearly all seals are demons, and that all the final nemesis fights are demons, I'm going to guess.--Toffile 06:45, 12 March 2012 (CET)
Fall of the Dinosaurs
Is there something up with the Fall of the Dinosaurs run? I'm doing well above the 101 damage cap in other high-level combat, but everything does 0 damage. I even forced a primitive chicken encounter and it's still all 0 for damage. --Ehsteve (talk) 03:33, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
