Talk:Grains of salt
This is a few grains of ordinary table salt, a condiment made by combining two highly reactive, deadly poisons into a perfectly safe and delicious food item. Chemistry is cool, man.
Not only will it make food taste better, but it also somehow allows you to be more skeptical when presented with dubious information.

Adventure gain
Ate an astral hot hog at level 5, it gave me 13 adventures. So that's a data point for 2-4 extra turns. It could also be fullness-based like Got Milk. I'll see what it spits out with a fortune cookie.--Toffile (talk) 17:17, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
- 6 adventures from reagent dishes, 3 from devil dogs, 5 from hi meins; so far looks consistent.LizardKing (talk) 11:11, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
9 adventures from a spaghetti breakfast (at level 8) + grains of salt + Got Milk.
5 adventures from a fortune cookie + grains of salt + Got Milk.
18 adventures from a ghost dog + grains of salt + Got Milk. --Greycat (talk) 13:31, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
10 adventures from a spaghetti breakfast (at level 12) + grains of salt + Got Milk.
19 adventures from ultrafondue + grains of salt + Got Milk.
32 adventures from Gnocchetti di Nietzsche + grains of salt + Got Milk. --Greycat (talk) 14:22, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
Has anyone seen a single data point yet that can't be explained by "it gives 3 adventures, always"? --Greycat (talk) 14:22, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
Quest Item
I added that it was lost when you break the prism and it was removed, isn't that a notable feature, I mean not all quest items disappear from your inventory when you break the prism. --Chunky_boo (talk) 20:29, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
- I didn't remove it, but I would have worded it differently. Currently this behavior is documented in the Notes section of the KOLHS page. I'd argue that a category or template should be created for various challenge-path-only quest items that disappear when breaking the prism, as we have a lot of them now in several challenge paths. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 20:33, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
- Guess I didn't go far enough down on the page I didn't see it there so I thought it was not noted on the wiki yet. --Chunky_boo (talk) 20:38, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
