Talk:Handful of confetti
Okay, so here's the obvious suggestion, if you use it enough do you get a trophy? --Dante5454 12:55, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
Used 100 times and checked the trophy hut nothing will eventually try more but not right now --Kincody 13:42, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
Should be relatively easy to code something that will use it, say, fifty-thousand times. Frankly, I dont' see them making it either that easy or that obvious. Hmmm.. There's a lot of 'use multiple' stuff, and it *isn't* a quest item.. I'm thinking you might be able to make something out of it.. paper mache helmet or something?--Terry 13:47, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
I can confirm that it can be used multiple times at once. Now, stuff like the awful poetry journal cannot, so clearly something must happen when you use multiple. Otherwise, why would they flag it like that?--Munkel (talk) 14:25, 2 July 2007 (CDT)
Good call on the "not a quest item" What if you would gain more and more confetti each ascension, and after a certain amount you could do something with it, similarly to the handful of sand?--Dante5454 19:16, 2 July 2007 (CDT)
I was thinking, maybe to get the trophy you have to use it every day or something, similar to The Butler Did It Trophy. --CG1:t,c,e 10:13, 7 July 2007 (CDT)
Using multiple with 6 or less gives the same message as using one. Landar 10:02, 28 July 2007 (CDT)
I know the plural
You sell your 2 handfuls of confetti to an argonaut for 2,000 Meat. Dessalvara 09:24, 11 July 2007 (CDT)
Multiusing 13?
The handful of confetti almost certainly has something to do with the "I Love A Parade" trophy. From the Level 11 quest completion text:
"Yeah, you're probably right. You like parades? We could throw a parade."
"Sure."
From orbrisa on the KoL Forums (near the bottom of page 1 of this topic http://forums.kingdomofloathing.com/viewtopic.php?t=83936):
When you type "use confetti" into Mafia's gCLI, it says:
You need 13 more handful of confetti to continue.
Perhaps this is significant. (I wouldn't know. Haven't got that many ascensions.)

I'll be over *here* doing my little 'I Told You So' dance. Yay! --Terry2 02:56, 6 August 2007 (CDT)
I wonder if the note about a Captain Planet reference is accurate. It's certainly not a line that came up every episode and sounds too vague to be specific to the show otherwise. --Dkohler 01:55, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- It's a TV show... with super heroes... who are environmentalists. I think the use message pretty much hits that one on the head.--Ephinia 03:50, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
- Dkohler might be right. A search for "Real heroes know" and "Captain Planet" yields only this page and its talk in its results, indicating the phrasing isn't Captain Planet specific. "Littering isn't cool" and "Captain Planet" has similarly poor results. I'd say yank the reference.-Foggy (talk) 12:46, 2 October 2014 (UTC)
- that's not convincing. we need the "real heroes know that verbing is't adjective" text or something similar. --Evilkolbot (talk) 12:47, 2 October 2014 (UTC)
