The +11 Melee damage is of course another use of 11, but probably refers specifically to Spinal Tap, what with it being a Heavy Metal Guitar. --Cwitz 10:03, 28 May 2006 (CDT)

      • Yes, absolutely. If there were an intentional reference, then the change would probably have happened on the day of the comet's appearance, and the guitars would have played some role in the storyline or would have some text to make the reference apparent. As it is, there's no more a reference to FLCL than there is to the Grimjack comic book (I don't have the issue number handy, but there is one wherein Grimjack joins up with some old friends to defend The Heart of Rock and Roll via Battle Rock, where all instruments (including guitars) are weapons). --Hellion 14:58, 6 June 2006 (CDT)

Smashing

  • aren't the who a bit late for the smashing guitar thing? was hendrix copying him? surely one of the wild, wild men of the fifties did such a thing? my googling's not up to it, unfortunately. my guess would be that an african american (not necessarily jimi) thought of it first and whitey stole it, same as usual. --Evilkolbot 13:07, 13 March 2007 (CDT)

Requirement change

Today I noticed the moxie requirement having been raised to 65. Does someone know, when exactly that was changed? The last time I used it with Moxie below 65 was at least 4-5 days ago... Obeliks 13:03, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

  • The +11 damage is now +16, thus destroying the Spinal Tap reference (and also making it no longer ridiculous and no longer not even funny). --Quietust (t|c) 21:52, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Weapon classification
