Talk:Käsesoßesturm
So does this skill get hardcore permed, just like Rainbow's Gravity? Or does it have to be manually permed like in an ascension? --Lemon-claw 22:30, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

Does this deal Stench damage or Physical damage? Spading on the Range when compared to Saucestorm damage? - AvangionQ / January 7th, 2010.
Stench damage that appears to be about the same range as that for Saucestorm. --Nahtmmm 06:08, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Käsesoße == Keyser Söze? he's everywhere! --Evilkolbot 12:54, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
- Nothing to do with each other. Unless maybe Keyser Söze liked to eat cheese sauce. What with him being a fictitious character, we would need to ask his author about that ;-) --Mr Crac 15:43, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
It is NOT marked as HC Perm upon consuming. --Kmarshall13 22:39, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
It appears that the spell does stench damage. It dealt one hit point of damage against caveman hippies.--Xataro 05:10, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- Err... forgive me, since I don't have the skill myself yet, but wouldn't it be apparent that it did stench damage even without using it against a stench monster, since dealing X damage will show up in green if it's stench? --Southwest 18:51, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
I'm guessing that there's nothing special here... it's just a Sauceror stench spell so that the Staff of Queso Escusado has some more value, since it gives +20 damage to stench spells. --DuckAndCower 21:11, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- In this vein, I wonder if someone can test this and post numbers for it. The Hobopolis elemental spells do not receive bonus elemental spell damage, but they do receive bonus generic spell damage. I wonder if this spell suffers from that same weakness, making the Staff of Queso Escusado useless for this purpose. I can and will also test it in a few runs, but would be cool to see someone else do it as well. Wearing only the staff, with over 125 Mysticality, a user should experience ([14 to 18] + 25 + 15)*1.5 = (54 to 58)*1.5 = 81 to 87 damage. Assuming it caps at +15 spell damage. (On a crit, it should do 139.5 to 151.5) --RoyalTonberry 21:24, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- Alrighty, I went and tested this myself. Wearing a Staff of the Kitchen Floor and a Bag o' Tricks. This is +20 Stench damage, and +200% spell damage. The expected range with this setup is ((14 to 18) + 25 + 15)*3 = (54 to 58)*3 = 162-174. The observed values I got were 162, 165, 168, 171, and 174. This fits perfectly. Testing further, I replaced the staff of the kitchen floor with the staff of the walk-in freezer. The reason for this is seeing if Intrinsic Spiciness has the expected effect. At level 13, Intrinsic should give +10. If Intrinsic does not act, the expected range is 117-129, if it does act for the expected +10, the range is 147-159. I saw the 147-159 range. There is no splashback effect. --RoyalTonberry 10:51, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- The cap on (generic) bonus spell damage appears to be the same as for Saucestorm (and Surge of Icing). Same thing for Candyblast and Cannelloni Cannon. —Yendor 11:48, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
Does anyone know how to pronounce this? I keep calling it "cass ee oh bess trum" but I'm sure that's incorrect.--Durgle 17:29, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- It's probably closer to "kes eh soss est urm" - for one thing, "ß" is pronounced as "ss", and you also misread a few other parts of the word entirely (looks like you read it as "kaseobestrum" rather than "Käsesoßesturm"). --Quietust (t|c) 21:28, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- "car say soss est urm". Well, it would depend on your regional accent. bumcheekcity 23:03, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- Car? Seriously ... Try "kaysay so seshtoorm" (with "oor" as in "poor") instead. Don't rest for too long on the "y" parts though, I just didn't know how else to describe the ä umlaut. -- Ruby Eyes 13:35, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
"epentetic"
Why does the history of the page show me making an edit that does nothing but change the spelling of the word "epenthetic"? No such edit was made by me. --Thark 17:58, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- Maybe from a KoLer you share your computer with. Maybe you logged in at an internetcafe, work, university or a friend. But most likely it was your evil twin! ;) --Yatsufusa 02:36, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
- I have never logged in anywhere except on my own personal computer. Guess I'll just change my password and move on with my life, one edit richer. --Thark 02:45, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
