Appears to be based off a monster's type. For example in the spooky woods, I gained no Ka from vampires, mummies, or triffids. I gained Ka from bars and wolfmen. I would suspect that bug type monsters, elementals, constellations, slimes, weird, horrors, constructs and demons won't grant Ka either. -Toffile (talk) 13:10, 15 February 2015 (UTC)

Ka coin acquisition messages

I wasn't sure where to put these, so I'll leave them here:

Two jackal-headed demons skulk out of the shadows, and siphon your opponent's soul from its body. One of them tosses you a gold coin as they drag it away.

You acquire an item: Ka coin

A couple of jackal-headed demons appear and rip the soul from your defeated opponent. As they're leaving, one of them grins at you and flips you a gold coin.

You acquire an item: Ka coin

Two jackal-headed demons cackle amongst themselves as they appear to haul away your opponent's soul. One of them gives you a couple of gold coins before they leave.

You acquire 2 Ka coins

A couple of jackal demons appear from the shadows, and give you two gold coins before taking away your fallen opponent's soul.

You acquire 2 Ka coins
