Encountered

Encountered with Mafia, didn't realize it until I looked at my item dump that I generated from the session file.. had +211% meat, +31% item, +83 ML (thus +20.75 substat/fight), and it was a Myst stat day. Time was around 2:00 AM Eastern U.S. time (GMT-5), if you cared.

A friend of mine just got this encounter on yesterday's mysticality day. Here's what he's told me so far:

1. The Slanding has the cold type. I was prepped for Snow Queens. So I had spooky and cold damage equipped. More specifically, the war tongs, the iiti kitty phone charm and the bloody clown pants equipped. The attacks did +20 hot and +36 spooky, exactly like they do against the rest of the monsters in the zone.
2. I gained 10 beefiness, 17 enchantedness, and 16 sarcasm. It's a mysticality day. The character is in a moxie class. I was adventuring with a leprechaun, and no stat gain buffs, so there should be no interference from that. (On second look, the stat gain is listed on the monster's own page, but not on the Icy Peak page, so that's not new)
3. I got 3540 meat from the fight. I had a 33 pound leprechaun and sticky fingers. It should be possible to reverse-engineer the base amount of meat.
4. I didn't have trouble hitting with a melee weapon, even as a moxie class. My muscle was 218 (buffed from 184). So the monster's power should be less than that. The stat gain might be a better indicator of monster power than that, though.

Also, in case anyone cares, this took place at 6:13 am today on www4.

Encountered him about 5 minutes ago.. was meat farming so i had "a ton" of +meat on.. had a lvl 50 hobo monkey and roughly 180% meat gain.. as for stat gains "moxie day and platypus and wasabi sensens so i don't know how usefull these stats will be"

Notes:he went down with one entry hit and 1 fearful fettucini(spooky aligned, dealt roughly 730 damage), so roughly just under 1k hp from what i can tell..

Just encountered it, stats are as follows:

• +433.9 Meat drops (198.9 from Chapau'd hatrack, rest from nasal spray, skills & eq.), so about 1100 basic meat drop.

  You gain 18 Muscleboundness.
  You gain 14 Mysteriousness.
  You gain 11 Chutzpah.

• Non-stat day, no bonus stat gain or ML effects.

Encountered as Muscle class (L15 TT), Platypus, on non-stat day, with no ML modifiers and +7% meat:

It engulfs you into its gaping maw, then tastes how long it's been since you showered and spits you out again. Since its maw goes straight to its gaping, acidic stomach, though, you get burned pretty bad. Ooh! Oof! Ugh! Ooh! Ouch!

Some spading data.

I just got OHKO'd by this thing and will not let my "luck" go completely to waste. I'm not spady enough to actually interpret this data, but I know someone will want to see it. At least we got a new hit message out of it. --Billybobfred 16:08, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

Pretty sure none of that has an effect on init or ML, but in case I missed something.

Holy cow, it's a Knott Slanding! You hardly ever see these things in the Kingdom, and it's a good thing -- they're all clicking claws, gnashing teeth, and tiresome drama.

It mauls you with its claws, then claws you in the mall. Where did that mall come from? Oof! Ugh! Ouch! Ugh! Eek! Ouch! Eek! You lose 38 hit points.

You are knocked to the ground. As the monster wanders off, it drops a white ribbon. You acquire an item: consolation ribbon

Got a message I didn't see on the Wiki.
It starts to engulf you in its gaping maw, but you leap away and it gets its tongue stuck on a nearby utility pole. You point and laugh, knowing it's going to talk (grunt?) funny for days.
