Talk:Liar's pants
While wearing all of the various items I saw "Trust Me" italicized in my chat pane. I assumed that it came from this item. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this. --Teranz 15:19, 2 January 2007 (CST)
The pants also add "Yeah, that's the ticket!" im sure there are more --Jesus 15:25, 2 January 2007 (CST)

+stats on the pants
it would seem that the pants also gives +5 to all stats. anyone else see this? --BrTarolg 04:40, 3 January 2007 (CST)
- [1] has something about this - although I swear there wasn't any myst or moxie boost in those screenshots. Well its two AM I actually can't remember if I saw it or not. --Shokwave 05:24, 3 January 2007 (CST)
- Just tested this myself. Without the Liar's pants on, my Muscle is 52 (45), Mysticality 52 (50), Moxie 40. With the Pants equipped, all my stat's jump up +5. Perhaps this should go in the item description on the wiki and moved to Notes later if it's even taken out? Just a thought. --Esko 05:45, 3 January 2007 (CST)
- People in the forums have it right... the Liar's Pants are lying about their enchantments! They're better than advertised! FlawlessWalrus 09:53, 3 January 2007 (CST)
- Taking a look at the item description, there's a blank line between "Enchantments" and the +10 Hot Damage, meaning that there's a hidden enchantment in there. The same thing shows up on the flaming familiar doppelgänger, apparently because they never assigned a description for the "gains weight faster" enchantment. --Quietust (t|c) 10:49, 3 January 2007 (CST)
- The item-description has now got a new line directing to the stat-boost: "+30 to All Attributes. Yeah, +30. That's the ticket." --Beliar Lightbearer 14:27, 7 January 2007 (CST)

Lying about Adventures?
Has anyone actually seen this happen? I've never seen this occur with my liar's pants, and it seems to have never been looked into deeply. I may just have not noticed, but I always seem to have the correct amount of adventures. Finally, I didn't want to edit that "effect" out without asking, lest I be seen as one who edits without proof. --Jonzay 06:39, 9 June 2007 (CDT)
I also wonder about this - I've never actually seen it occur when wearing the liar's pants. I've done a series of adventures where I check the counter each time and/or unequip to see if anything changes, but my counter always seems accurate. Does anyone have more information on this? How often, by how much, how long it lasts, etc?--Chagchag 23:39, 12 June 2007 (CDT)
