Talk:Lost key
Since there seems to be a disagreement: I think this item is a reference to the science fiction series The Lost Room. Even if the resulting adventures would have nothing to do with the series (which I somehow doubt), this key looks like the key from The Lost Room and the description states, that it's an "old-fashioned hotel key" - the same as in the series. Furthermore the very name of the item seems to point in that direction.
Opinions? --Yatsufusa 10:17, 4 May 2012 (CEST)
- i'd say hold off. it's probable but not possible to gauge yet. needs more text. --Evilkolbot 13:48, 4 May 2012 (CEST)
I just went diving for treasure and the text said that I had found a Lost Key. Fantastic, but I already had one. I did not receive a second key with one already in my inventory. Can anyone else verify that you can only get one or that you can get more than one? --magnet0 18:10, 14 July 2012 (CEST)
- I can tell from experience that you can get keys while having up to 5 of them in your inventory, but I strongly doubt there's any kind of check for duplicates to determine what you get - otherwise everyone in aftercore could force a watered-down Red Minotaur or lost key to drop. Since the lost key seems to be a rare drop, I'd say you were just unlucky to get your second key this late. --Yatsufusa 18:38, 14 July 2012 (CEST)
Does using this item (and the subsequent choices) take a turn? Argus 11:53, 20 July 2012 (CEST)
- Nope, using a key (and subsequently getting an item) doesn't use up an Adventure. --Yatsufusa 17:29, 20 July 2012 (CEST)
Also, this item can be used while falling down drunk. --Stonecat (talk) 16:41, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
