Talk:Lucky gold ring

From A KoL Wiki

Is this similar to Screege's specs, in that you find various sell-for-meat items like dollar sign bags and shiny pebbles, or is it more items such as beach bucks, sand dollars, coinspiracy, etc? Either way, seems like a good reward. --Jimfromtx (talk) 09:40, 8 April 2019 (UTC)

  • Looks like the latter (but limited to zones you can already access). --Baltar (talk) 01:40, 12 April 2019 (UTC)
  • Though the page says you have to have permanent access for each drop to be available, this is not true. I just got a Coinspiracy from my ring while fighting in the Secret Government Laboratory, using a one-day pass. I do not own the charter.--TwirlyRotini (talk) 22:12, 14 April 2019 (UTC)
    • That certainly conflicts with reports I've received to this point, which is interesting.

Perhaps it is because you adventured in the zone that said one-day pass unlocks specifically. Can something similar be replicated when adventuring outside the zone unlocked with said one-day ticket? --Volc (talk) 03:08, 15 April 2019 (UTC)

I've seen a lot of conflicting reports on the forums about what currencies can drop. Adding to the confusion is the fact that the flag for Funfunds seems to be bugged: Some people without Dinsey access were getting FunFunds, while those with access were not. --Prestige (talk) 03:23, 15 April 2019 (UTC)

The odds for the different currencies seem to be influenced by the place you're adventuring in. I was adventuring in the Dreadsylvanian Woods, and the ring gave me an FK most of the time. I did get meat or a hobo nickel a few times, though. --Laytruce (talk) 11:43, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
