Talk:Lumpy, the Sinister Sauceblob (Volcanic Cave)
somebody who knows formatting can put this in: miss messages - You scramble backwards, and it takes a second for Lumpy to ooze back into range. The Sauceblob swings a heavy pseudopod at you, but you're light enough on your real feet to dodge it. While dodging a flailing pseudopod, you narrowly avoid stepping in a puddle of sauceblob. It's like two dodges for the price of one!
hit: Lumpy squirts you with a jet of fluid that smells like the stuff that leaks out the bottom of the garbage bag. While dodging a flailing pseudopod, you step in a puddle of sauceblob. It burns! Lumpy swings a pseudopod the size and shape of a sledgehammer at you. It feels pretty much like a sledgehammer too. The sinister Sauceblob surges over you like a tidal wave. You struggle, enveloped, and manage to free yourself before you suffocate, but not before the caustic fluids cause severe burns. --Silent Knight 11:18, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
Elemental/Physical Resistance
Okay, so first see the data on Talk:The Spirit of New Wave_(Volcanic_Cave)#Elemental/Physical Resistance. Um, I probably should get everything together in one place. Whatever.
Two more data points: 500 becomes 218, and 581 becomes 240. Unfortunately, this was enough to kill it :(
Assuming that the reduction works similarly to Lumpy, the Demonic Sauceblob (do X% reduction; round up; soft cap; round down), and assuming that all the penultimate nemeses have the same reduction so that I can share the data from TSoNW (which makes sense, since 3/6 of the ultimate nemeses have the same damage reduction), this would lead to,
- 75% reduction. Round up.
- Soft damage cap: if the attack now does >100 damage, then the attack does 100+(damage -100)^0.85 damage. Round down.
This is a lot of assumptions, and I don't have much data, so I'll just leave this here until I can get more. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 02:52, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
I think that the data on defence might be off... It's 90% of the other nemesis, as if whoever spaded/entered it didn't realize that the wiki lowers it by 90% again. 185*.9=166.5(167, rounded up). 167*.9=150.3(151, rounded up). Possible that this nemesis is lower, but all of the others do match... --Theraze 15:38, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
