I think it may have to do with how much damage you do per source ala the hellseal parts.. I tried many runs to get this with 600% +item and pickpocket with no results but tried this time using a mini-borg destroy a bot and got the battery. I wonder if it was that or the rubber gloves I had equipped. I'll try again next run to see if I can get it to drop again. --Murixbob (talk) 19:18, 21 June 2013 (UTC)

• it could be just the luck of the draw, but on my 10th run through the jar I finally got the battery and I was wearing the rubber gloves. It may be just coincidence, but jacking up my drop rate didn't seem to help much in the previous nine attempts.--Noskilz (talk) 21:46, 11 August 2013 (UTC)
  • I've made 3 or more runs based on the previous comments, but still no magical battery. I always wear rubber gloves and use the clean-room daemon's avatar potion. On my latest run, I funkslung a Miniborg Destroy-O-Bot & specter sceptre. On a different run, I also used a triad code wizard avatar potion.--Dkohler (talk) 23:20, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

After dozens of tries, I finally had one drop. When it did drop, I had a lot of Prismatic Damage (71), and I also had the lucky cat collar equipped. Most likely just a lucky break, but I thought I'd mention it in case. -Abbywill (talk) 07:22, 29 January 2015 (UTC)
