Talk:Mallowed Out
Here's what it looks like this does: It buffs all your stats by 5% for each turn of the effect you have remaining. Interesting.--Prestige 22:50, 24 January 2008 (CST)
Indeed, this seems to be the case. If you eat a whole bunch of marshmallows... crazy stats! --Skin Deep 22:53, 24 January 2008 (CST)—
So is it capped at all? Has some tried eating 20 marshmallows? —Yendor 00:44, 25 January 2008 (CST)
- well that would give 60 turns, or +300% stats...That *would* be crazy! Imagine how this could affect basement divers! --Jimfromtx 01:35, 25 January 2008 (CST)
- for that matter, if you could wait a couple of days, and had a ton of them, you could eat 20 a day, to add your turns up, and have all 200 turns with the effect. It would take 67 marshmallows, or about 3 days and change, to do so. But imagine it...+1000% stats *drools*
Has anyone noticed anything unusual adventuring various places while 'mallowed out'? Perhaps at places related to the stories? haunted bathroom or spooky woods for the beeman (I already tried knobb treasury) the hole in the sky for green ribbon not sure what locations the others would relate to.. Also wondering if there's a way to tell your own story.. maybe by adventuring there with a Radio KOL Flashlight equiped??--Silven 03:19, 25 January 2008 (CST)
Given that Skully posted on the forum saying that roasting marshmallows was all there is to this holiday, I'm going to guess that there isn't anything else to find. --Skin Deep 04:22, 25 January 2008 (CST)
Is there a Cap ?
I really hope this is capped. PYEC + this, even if you can't eat them after yule, would mean increasing buffed stats each day so much, that after getting to a half decent level, you're best just not playing turns for PVP. I mean, each day is +25% to all stats >_>--Aprocalypse 06:50, 25 January 2008 (CST)
- I kinda hope its not capped, I mean you give up using adventures to build up this buff - thats a fairly big cost. If you ate them for a month and spent zero adventures you would have +9000% to all stats for one adventure, it would slowly decrease over the next 1800 adventures; in which time some basement diving could be done, but then you would have to eat for a month (or longer) again with no adventures being spent. Taking this a bit further I dont think its unreasonable to have +100,000% to all stats by eating these for a whole year. That is crazy stats for sure, but its a year of not using adventures. Also for pvp you are never going to increase your base stats by buffing this way. --Darkness 07:13, 25 January 2008 (CST)
- But why would you need to (raise base stats) after a certain point? PVP would come down to when to stop leveling on your multis. --Aprocalypse 20:40, 25 January 2008 (CST)
- One of the mini games is always based on base stats. --Darkness 02:44, 26 January 2008 (CST)

It would be simply cruel if they couldn't be eaten after Yule since I have 116 roasted marshmallows so far, 65 adventures left and I'm planning to spend those roasting. Oh, and I've only had one drink today so there's gonna be more adventures from boozing... Even two days on a marshmallow diet would give a significant aid in the basement and this way if you eat 15 marshmallows at the end of one day and 15 at the beginning of another, you don't have to spend any days without playing. (Finished my day with 235 roasted marshmallows.) --Seko 12:56, 25 January 2008 (CST)
I wonder. How should this be incorporated into the Maximizing Your X pages? If it's uncapped, I can't think of a good way to apply it. --TechSmurf 19:39, 25 January 2008 (CST)
If this is not capped, it would seem kinda crazy right? But there might be some sense of not making it capped. First of all the MORE you adventure the LESS remaining oyu haev meaning LESS +% stats each time. Although you might say :"Well we'll just eat a couple thousand over a few days to gain like 1000000% stats" it would still take awhile, AND the number of marshmallows are limited by the number of mashmallows people roasted ,and more cant be made until the next Yuletide. IF it is uncapped, the price would soar up since more people would be buying it, AND that much being bought will be a rather good way to make meat flow from the rich to the poor. However, the thing would still be quite mad if it is uncapped, basement divers would be overjoyed by the marshmallow. Well, enough talking about how cool it would be if it is uncapped. WHY DONT we just TEST and OBSERVE if it DOES OR DOES NOT stack before we start jumping to crazy conclusions, mad ideas, and soon-to-be-broken ambitions?--TehChozenOne 21:59, 25 January 2008 (CST)
- You cant eat a couple thousand over a few days, they use 1 fullness each. A full year of eating them (20 per day) without adventuring will net just over 100,000% --Darkness 02:44, 26 January 2008 (CST)
- Eating 20 marshmellows = 60 turns, is 300% per day, over 365 days is 110,000% buffs to all stats. With a PYEC (bonus 5 turns or 25% per day) that has an extra 25% * 365 or 9,125% stats. Just for the hard numbers.--Aprocalypse 03:29, 26 January 2008 (CST)
- It would be kinda crazy just eating the thing whole year and doing nothing right? Like that multi will not be able to do anything for A YEAR. Probably some people are decicated enough though. Has anyone found a cap yet? or is it that NOBODY ATE any yet?EDIT: Is the cap more than 15 if it exist, otherwise i cant test it out because i have no stomach of steel.--TehChozenOne 00:11, 27 January 2008 (CST)
Is there anyone at all spading this? If there are, they should post the amount of mallowed out they have with without a cap. --Shademaster00 12:47, 27 January 2008 (CST)
There is a cap at 100 advs of the buff (+500%) had 174 adv of the effect but only had +500%, used down t 100 adv and still had the same +stats, used another adv and my stats started to go down --Gorloth 00:40, 28 January 2008 (CST)
Effect wears off slowly as you adventure
What I have noticed is that as you adventure the stat boost decreases, haven't worked out the rate yet but it looks to be about one third the gain per mallow each turn which would make sense. Interesting that this seams to work differently both in gaining and losing the effect, than anything else in the kingdom. --Tebee 11:59, 26 January 2008 (CST)
