There's really nothing to do at the other locations? I would hope there's some kind of end reward here, all the other antique maps ended up with a boss fight and some kind of reward... --Jimfromtx 19:53, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Perhaps there's some synergy to be had, using the Essential items, in some order or another. I mean, all we're getting out of it is some food, booze, pet buffs, and a 1/day fancychoc that you have to spend a lot of effort to farm.--Terry 07:03, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

I can't believe all the other side areas are nothing more than just flavour text, but as far as can be told by my limited spading, the effects don't seem to interact in a way that does anything more than provide more adventures. Time and spading will tell us more. As a suggestion that's probably already been tried, has anyone tried suitable-sounding effects from other places in the sideareas? --Chyld 20:53, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

I find it hard to believe too. Have tried half-astral, confused, strange mental acuity, dreams and lights, far out, flower power, florid cheeks, Hennaliciousness, big veiny brain, hippy stench, mental a-cue-ity, mystic pickleness, seeing colors, and mallowed out with no luck. Would like to try arcane in the brain, burning soul, concentrated concentration, dilated pupils, drummed out, freaked out, good karma, mucilaginous mentalism, oriental mysticism, smoky third eye... -- acm, 19:25, 17 July 2010 (EST)
