Talk:Maximizing Your Combat Initiative

From A KoL Wiki

Does anyone know how much bonus the Ticking Clock gives you? Any way we can find out?--LoopyChew 04:51, 10 February 2006 (Central Standard Time)

The pixel sword is now badly beaten by dual-weilding chopsticks. However, I have no idea how to format this page, so when someone who does reads this, could you update the page? --DestroyerBEACON 14:14, 18 March 2006 (CST)

I have updated the page with the chopsticks. Can someone else look into dual-weildiness? --Jaren80 17:12, 18 March 2006 (CST)

Travoltan trousers now screws up the stuff with +30% initiative. Im not too sure which ones should get the trousers, though, so could someone look into it?--Blahking 17:43, 4 September 2006 (CDT)

  • Both Deity and Villa get them - they're well within the Villa budget (for now), and they're far better than Crimbo pants: same power, lots of extra mods, and ZERO moxie required to equip. --Quietust 15:38, 3 October 2006 (CDT)

The hors d'oeuvre tray can double as an offhand shield, same bonus as the chopsticks but with damage reduction instead of attack power. Eh? Worth a mention?--Pastrami 17:38, 17 January 2007 (CST)

This needs a Major NS-13 Update. Beaten-up Chucks give a 40% initiative boost as an accessory, making them better than the Bonerdagon Necklace, plus are easily obtainable. The Grimacite Gat is 50% on a 1-handed weapon, definitely the weapon(s) of choice, at least for Deities. Brimstone Boxers similarly give a 50% intiative boost as pants, and again would be a Diety (and probably Villa too) addition. And any number of effects given by NS-13 may have initiative boosts, this needs to be spaded out.--Wildfire393 14:51, 25 July 2007 (CDT)

The costume sword from the Gaudy Pirate has +30% initiative. It doesn't do much for damage, but it would be good against the shadow. I'd update it myself, but I have no idea what I'm doing here.--Robojesus 13:31, 19 December 2007 (CST)

So, I'm thinking that having three pairs of Beaten-up Chucks, which are a drop from a Semi-Rare adventure, from a limited adventure set (1000 adventures max) seems a bit much for an Apathetic Lizard man. I think the Lizard man shouldn't have them at all, and probably the ascender should only have two pair... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tiwaz (talkcontribs) on 22 January 2008

  • Lizardfolk were eliminated from this series of articles several months ago. See Dressing For Success. Also, it would be a gigantic headache to do these pages based on total equipment Meat cost rather than per-item basis, as it would basically be a linear programming problem wherein prices fluctuated constantly. --Bagatelle 17:39, 22 January 2008 (CST)

Ahem... Colonel Mustard's Lonely Spades Club Jacket has been confirmed to raise Combat Initiative. Making it the only shirt to do so. --Tamergrue 16:03, 5 August 2008 (CDT)

little round pebble

Little round pebble needs to be added to wherever it should be added. I don't know which people should have access to it. -- Alphacow 12:26, 1 September 2008 (CDT)

It's existed for quite a while now. Why doesn't someone add it to the off-hand slot? It provides 50% boost. --Tamergrue 03:08, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
