Talk:Mer-kin Temple

Just curious if who gets what is keyed to class, role or random: as a sauceror high priest, I got Yog-Urt, Elder Goddess of Hatred. Based on the Jiggawatt gif, I'm assuming she's not the only possibility--Noskilz (talk) 23:39, 21 April 2013 (UTC)

  • High priest gets one god, gladiator gets another. Each god gives a different outfit, each class a different part of it. Oh, and, according to some schools of thought, smithing the two outfit pieces for the same class will give a piece of a third outfit. Yaaaay. --KingBobson (talk) 23:42, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
    • I assume this means you would have to finish this quest 12 times to get everything, sheesh.--Tombot (talk) 13:22, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
      • or, if you want the benefits of all 3 outfits, 24 times! bet BM rewards don't look so time-intensive, now huh?--The ErosionSeeker (talk) 13:29, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
        • It ranks about 9 on the 'gag-me-with-a-spoon-O-meter'.--Tombot (talk) 14:18, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

The known outfits are Violent Vestments (with Jiggawatt loot) and Hateful Habiliment (with Yog-Urt loot). And it's 48 times if you want an additional one of each for the display case. :-( --Club (#66669) (Talk) 19:30, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

By the way, do the buffs from the caliginous abyss do anything here?--Tombot (talk) 15:13, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

Just added the fact that you need to be wearing the scholar's vestments to face Yog-Urt (somehow the 9th time I've faced her was the first time I've tried wearing a different hat). Presumably the same applies to the other boss but I haven't confirmed that. --Campboy (talk) 16:08, 20 December 2013 (UTC)
