Talk:Mer-kin raider
Out of curiosity, is there a determined number/formula on how much the healer heals for, if anything? --Laparapa 21:34, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
I used a divine blowout against one of these and it did exactly half my buffed moxie as damage. --Kathrynt 16:55, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
My saucegeysers aren't doing nearly as much damage as they should. This guy definitely has some kind of damage absorption, and it works against elemental attacks. Halves all damage, perhaps? --Zyrac 20:54, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
Statistics
Collected drop rate statistics. As usual, "wh: X" means the character was using a hound dog familiar at the indicated weight while under the Wallaby sign. The effects of this were and are accounted for. --Flargen 16:39, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Healer Effects
the putrescent green light effect is probably a full heal. the maddening language is probably increase ML. the grotesque ball probably does both.
the mer-kin healer does similar skills, with probably similar effects.
i think i know this because it normally takes me 2 weapon of pastalords to kill it, but after skills #1 or #3, i need at least 3.
can someone else help me confirm?--The ErosionSeeker 21:34, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
Killscroll damage
My own fault for not reading everything properly, but is it worth adding a note explicitly regarding the Mer-kin killscroll? That item's page doesn't say anything about the Mer-kin raider particularly, and implies that it does at least 1500 damage to all Mer-kin. (I've added a similar note/query on the item page.) --MadKingSoupII 01:16, 10 February 2012 (CET)
- Does the killscroll do anything different against this monster compared to the other six current Mer-Kin types? If not, no special note belongs here. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 21:43, 10 February 2012 (CET)
- No, it does the same thing, and yes, there's already a note saying that all damage is subject to the raider's soft cap calculation. So, note on the killscroll page or not? --MadKingSoupII 20:23, 17 February 2012 (CET)
- So, you are saying that, yes, indeed the killscroll works differently against this particular monster because the damage cap kicks in. That sounds note-worthy, yes. Do you want to make the change or suggest a wording? I have no recent mer-kin experience for a first hand account. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 20:31, 17 February 2012 (CET)
- Sure, I'll add a note. I just wasn't sure it was indeed note-worthy, although as I mentioned it did end up costing me a few turns of Beaten Up. --MadKingSoupII 02:20, 22 February 2012 (CET)
