Talk:Mizzenmast mop

Has any one else had severe trouble getting the mizzenmast mop to drop (with multiple occurrences of the curmudgeonly pirate) when it is the third item needed for the quest? This is the 2nd time I've noticed this. (The first was right after the revamp of the Cove.) I suspect that one of the location-unique queue manipulations may have triggered it the first time, after several days worth of adventures.--Jambosque 01:19, 1 August 2008 (CDT)

Just got it, after using a cocktail napkin on the clingy pirate (though I had done this previously before getting the other 2 items) and insulting the curmudgeonly pirate twice... --Jambosque 01:19, 1 August 2008 (CDT)

I couldn't get it to drop for about 100 adventures (give or take), but it dropped the first time I met a curmudgeonly pirate after using the other two items. Could this be a factor? --MrBobicus 13:33, 1 April 2012 (GMT)
