The page says you can only get this from very tall grass or any size during a pocket familiars run. However sombody on the forums has confirmed to a degree that it can come from ANY grass in ANY path. So which is it?--Tombot (talk) 23:45, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
Just started a softcore standard Sauceror run. Had an empty garden, used a fertilizer, immediately picked the grass and got the hatchling. So, I am confirming that the grass need not be the 'very tall' variety.--AlbinoRhino (talk) 01:02, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
