Talk:Muscle Substat
Needs info about Bottle of Used Blood.
Also wads. -KidOblivious 16:10, 25 November 2006 (CST)
Added a column for Requirement (due to NS13) and also added the wads. Forgot to add the Bottle of used blood and didn't add any new NS13 items (if there are any). --jupider 13:29, 9 July 2007 (CDT)
- Added the Bottle of used blood. And some clover adventures. --jupider 19:54, 9 July 2007 (CDT)
Added a couple more items. Also, need to do one of the following:
- Remove the "Duration" column, as it is only used by one entry. Or,
- Add all the skill/item effects that increase stat gains.
I want to get Muscle squared away, then I'll move on to the Mysticality and Moxie substat pages. --jupider 20:31, 9 July 2007 (CDT)
Needs better system
These pages need an overhaul. We can't just list some of the spleen items/adventures/etc. Either we list all consumable items/adventures, or we drop them into one row as "variable" for the whole category, as with food and booze. Beyond that, what're the criteria for having a listing on the page? Non-consumables/adventures that give substats? --TechSmurf 12:46, 20 July 2007 (CDT)
- I'm against adding (keeping) food/booze/spleen sources, as it duplicates effort in the Best <diet item> pages, which is basically the same information in different format. Other than that, I can see how having a list of non-combats that boost a certain substat, or non-consumables that do the same, could be useful for people level-grinding. --Bagatelle 17:31, 20 July 2007 (CDT)
Radical removals
I've been doing a lot of updating, and one thing that's clear is that because we have so many pages duplicate content, pages like this are tougher to update. In addition, the inclusion of spleen items in the menu (and some adventures) made this page less manageable.
I removed all spleen items and adventures, including ten-leaf clover adventures. I removed items that only increase stat gains after an adventure. Essentially, anything on this a) does not require an adventure and b) does not cost fullness, drunkenness and spleen. I did add the divine noisemaker, since its stat gain is independent from the adventure itself, and the 668 scroll which was oddly absent. Finally, I added the handmade hobby horse and flushed out the bottle of used blood.--Foggy 01:07, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
