    • I believe he wants to know if it carries over if you ascend before the k-mail arrives. I believe the answer is 'no'. A clannie ascended before rollover after doing this quest in aftercore and he did not get the pin. This makes sense, as this is almost certainly triggered by a quest flag being set, which would be cleared on ascension. --Flargen 04:38, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
    • Agreed; I did the quest right before ascending, and got no kmail or item the next day. It's not like SSPD, where you can do the triggering adventure before ascending, and then get the traffic cone or shield the next day in a new ascension. --Terion 19:26, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

I believe the combination of subject x and glyphs taken together is a reference to subject 16 in the assassins creed series and glyphs left by him in various places. AC also loves exposition etc in emails. This also fits nicely alongside the prisoner reference with it being a lapel pin from a numbered prisoner. Discordance 20:13, 16 November 2012 (CET)
