Is it worth mentioning that the item name changed even in the list that keeps track of what/how many food items you have eaten? --Fuzzy1994 13:30, 28 December 2007 (CST)

• I think this is meant to be implied by the current use of words like "replace" and "become". As opposed to saying "all unremarkable candy canes were converted into ...", which would seem to imply that a new item with a new item id was created. I don't think it would hurt to specifically mention it, though. I believe there is precedent for this on a number of pages of obsolete reagent potions and effects that had their item ids reclaimed for new things (typically functionally equivalent things with new names and sources). --Flargen 18:27, 28 December 2007 (CST)
