Talk:Natural Born Skeleton Killer

From A KoL Wiki

It appears to only increase kills by about 5 skeletons. I went from 65-74 to 70-79. --valys 06:49, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

I increased my kills from 37-38 to 40-41. 7% increase? --Sjabth 07:52, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

More like 10%--Modran 08:01, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

I got about an extra 10 out of it, from 59?61?-69 to 70-78.Speight 11:29, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

"whichskill"

I don't know what this means, so I'll just leave this here...

[03:52] Munkee79: fwiw the URL displayed for natural-born skeleton killer has "whichskill=63& self=true" in it

Perming

It doesn't auto-mark as Hardcore Permanent (and why should it, really?), but the question is, does this (and the other Kill More Skeletons modifiers) have an effect on the regular skeleton monsters in the normal game? The "Slime Hates It" stuff only works on The Slime Tube because...you know, slime monsters are only found there, but you never know. The safarrri hat's +10 damage to Lions does work, even though it's a single monster type in the game, so just wondering. --Doomsday Forte 23:09, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

  • It's a question I'm sure a number of us are wondering about, but won't look into for a few days. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 23:39, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

witnessed to increase a reliable 30-31 to 31-34. I'm assuming it doesnt add +damage to skeletons but +skeleton kills to events, but Imma perm it in case of future events. --Davydd 01:27, 14 May 2011 (UTC)

this skill DOES NOT appear to add any beeps to the evilometer in the crypt quest. Nor have I seen any awsome sword drops after killing a dozen or so (but that much at least is inconclusive) --Darkwolf 00:13, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

+damage to skeletons

According to the radio show, the skill was originally made as a +dmg to skeleton passive, which should still be active. So that needs to be spaded. The effect to skeleton kills for the event was added later in the design, but before it was released. --Darkwolf 02:13, 17 May 2011 (UTC)

Sweet swords?

So, has anyone seen one of the sweet swords mentioned in the description? --Gdunge 05:33, 17 May 2011 (UTC)

There aren't any. It was confirmed on the radio show that it is merely +dmg to skeletons and an increase in the event kills. --Darkwolf 05:39, 17 May 2011 (UTC)

Bigg's fossilized skeletons

Do the reanimated monsters from Bigg's Dig (for example, the reanimated bat skeleton) count as skeletons for the purposes of this skill? If so, is the bonus damage useful against them, or does it get minimized like everything else? --Southwest 07:54, 3 July 2011 (CEST)
