Talk:Network Map

From A KoL Wiki

From my observations and the additions to this wiki, the "halfway done" adventures seem to be the same across all the different cyberzones, also there seems to be at least three different variations for each element. I'm not sure the best way of organising this, but we could just create a master page for all variations and just have each zone link to it.--Tombot (talk) 16:12, 8 January 2025 (UTC)

The descriptions and images are shared, the choice adventures are mechanically different with different ID and item amount. Its looking like a page for the shared descriptions, titles, and images makes sense, but the 3 choice adventures would link to this. Discordance (talk) 20:50, 8 January 2025 (UTC)

New Monster sub-type

So the non-hacker monsters in this area are special as they require special items and abilities to fight as well as being the only enemies that can drop 1s, this makes me think that we should give them their own unique category but I'm not sure what to call them. We could call them "Process" or "Processes", but that might get a bit confusing as that's rather vague and could refer to something else. Any better suggestions or is that good enough?--Tombot (talk) 21:58, 12 January 2025 (UTC)

  • Okay, so I decided that "Process" was good enough, but I can't figure out for the life of me how to add categories to pages or create categories themselves, somebody will need to help me out with this one.--Tombot (talk) 17:24, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
    • Does not appear to be a true monster tag. Actually seems to be a zone effect of cyberrealm that only gets removed if you encounter a hacker. Will explain this on the zone pages, but still marking the 10 constructs from the zone as processes as they are meant to be thought of as processes. The distinction applies when you bring in an external monster, as the start of fight applies process rules any monster introduced to the zone is fought as a process.
