Using a fat stacks of cash gives you a dusty crate or a sturdy create (sorry already used, forgot the specifics) the items range from stuffed alien blob, gyroscope, dollhive, dollhouse. The sturdy gave me a dollhive, the dusty gave me an alien blob, I'd assume sturdy crates give higher tier items. I wasn't keeping track for gyroscope/dollhouse, and I also wasn't keeping track of which penguin gave which crate...Risen Jihad 06:42, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
First time, you get a sturdy crate that drops hives, second crate is the dusty which drops combat items and the third and after is the battered crate which has holiday food. --Koltreg 07:27, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

It looks like the Monster Level for scaling is capped at 10,000. I was getting ~2700 substats (muscle day, sombrero) with a level 43 moxie class at 11,000 buffed moxie, and Kolabuff (level 105) was also getting ~2700 substats at 76,000 buffed moxie, also with a sombrero, also on a muscle day. --MindlessGames 08:15, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

you folks might be interested to know that the series is in fact 1 sturdy, 2 dust the rest battered, EACH DAY! heh heh heh yesterday I got 1 sturdy 2 dusty and 2 battered, in that order? today, I got another sturdy followed by another dusty! it's like crimbo morning! damage types
- The elves are taking extra damage from Stench spells, for the record. My other spells seem to be hitting for around 98-102, but Stench spells (with the Cookbook of the Damned offhand) are hitting for around 175-182. Penguins are taking a little lighter damage (around 165-170), but Stench seems to be the way to go with them, too. -JuiceDoctor 18:14, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
