Since this item only helps with hobos, does the +30% increase the drop rate of nickels more than with other item drop increasers? I'm just wondering if it's worth all those nickels to buy one. -- kimEEE

Well it would be the best accessory by far. There are only 2 items possible of at least +30%, one is a Jek which is variable, and the other is a Grimacite item.--Toffile 10:17, 24 July 2008 (CDT)

Indeed it does! Was able to get a 8x consumable drop from Chester, only possible if the shoes applied their bonus. Demon llama 18:41, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
