Talk:Open the Bag o' Tricks

From A KoL Wiki

Animals so far include a bee, badger, piranha, and beaver. The bee, piranha, and beaver all did damage; the badger gave a Badger Underfoot effect, which is apparently incomplete right now.--Foggy 05:24, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Additional to the Badger, a Chihuahua can be summoned that gives Chihuahua Underfoot effect. The effect currently returns "No effect with that ID was found. +20 to Monster Level" --Alphie 05:47, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

It appears that the effect may only occur if you don't have the effect active. I have also only got the Chihuahua effect. It maybe a class specific effect.

When using Summon Backup Dancer, I get this message: "The Bag o' Tricks suddenly feels a little heavier." Until this point, I had only been getting insects. First use after that, I got a badger. Badger Underfoot also shows 20% meat drop in it's description, but still shows "No effect with that ID was found." In case the above comment about class is correct, I'm a TT (level 26). --Palpitations 07:23, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Using Summon Backup Dancer in two combats, without using the bag, leads to "The Bag o' Tricks begins to wriggle around in your hand." Using it gave Weasels Underfoot - 10% item drop. Using Summon Backup Dancer in three combats, without using the bad, leads to "The Bag o' Tricks begins squirming around more urgently." Using the bag then led to Chihuahua Underfoot. Using it in four combats led to "The Bag o' Tricks continues to wriggle around in your hand." Opening at this point led to a Wooly Mammoth. --Palpitations 07:39, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
The Wooly Mammoth, and other large animals, seem to take the place of the chiuaua when you let it charge four times or more (when you have the final charge message: "The Bag o' Tricks continues to wriggle around in your hand."). Other animals follow. I got them in this order: Wooly Mammoth, stampeding hippopotamus, shark riding on the back of an elephant, and then back to the wooly mammoth, wooly mammoth, 500 pound gorilla... so it doesn't appear to be a pattern at all. The lower the charge the lower the animal (and damage) seems to be done. I've had the mammoth do 150 damage or so; but that was against sleaze and it's weak against cold.--Rahmuss 07:28, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

I think any "spell" counts...I have the same thing happen with the Cannon spell. It definitely appears to change the animal, and damage done.--Foggy 14:01, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Is there a fourth animal summoned with a Charge of 2? --FoodSeeker 06:43, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

I thought people on forums said about fourth +famweight effect, but I couldn't receive an effect when bag had 0 charges, and received Badger after filling it with 1 charge. -- wRAR 07:33, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

I am having trouble understanding the "charges". I continue to get Chihuahua Underfoot. Could someone enter a better dscription int he wiki as to how to get the other effects? --jokerzzy 21:11, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

My very first adventure for the day and I cast Weapon of the Pasta Lord and killed a hobo. Next combat it said the second charge message: "The Bag o' Tricks begins to wriggle around in your hand." On that combat screen I wanted the +item, so I used the bag and ended up with a chiuaua. Instead of just magic spells could it also have to do with the monster or the Monster Level of the monster you're fighting? As mentioned I was fighting sleaze hobos with mind control device at 11; but no other ML modifiers on. After getting that chiuaua message I killed the hobo (the second one for the day) with Weapon of the Pasta Lord again and above where it showed the damage I dealt it said: "The Bag o' Tricks suddenly feels a little heavier."--Rahmuss 07:28, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
