Reference to T.S. Eliot (The Lovesong of J Alfred Prufrock)? Certainly the first thing I thought about but it does not really seem to fit. (Quoth the poet: "...I should have been a pair of ragged claws Scuttling across the floors of silent seas...") --DerMagus 16:32, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

It would make far more sense for the claws to be an underwater familiar given the Eliot reference, if that was intended... But meh, I guess the afternoon, the evening sleeps so peacefully when you're being torn to shreds by mutant claws. -Nyren 04:18, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
