Talk:Parseable Equipment Statistics (Flat)
Here is enchantment info for all the items in the game.
The data format should be self-evident: fields are given at the top; each subsequent line is delimited by '|' characters and each line ends in '!!'. damage[#] means bonus elemental weapon damage, resist[#] means elemental resistance, eltspelldmg[#] means bonus elemental spell damage; in each case the elements are numbered (1=hot, cold, spooky, stench, 5=sleaze).
Note that this was drawn from the Simulator of Loathing datafiles, so if you see junk in there like 'grimacite not implemented' that's why -- let's find out if it's useful and then scrub it.--DirkDiggler 21:28, 2 December 2006 (CST)
Updates
So, do we foresee this page being maintained? And if not, should we keep it? Bonus Question: Why was this on the wiki in the first place? --TimRem 21:34, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
- It's unlikely to be maintained, since DirkDiggler hasn't been active for a long time. Putting a note that it's obsolete is a good idea, but I can't really see a reason to delete it.
- As to why it's here in the first place? Because it's useful. In the past I've grabbed data from the various "Parseable X Statistics" for use in spading projects. The wiki is the defacto knowledge repo for Kol, and so DirkDiggler uploaded it here for everyone to use. It's not the most ideal way to store the data, but it was easy and it worked. --Starwed 22:28, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
