Booze Drop Chance
I've played 150 turns with the Party Mouse familiar active and it provided me with,
- 8 booze
- 6 of which are decent quality (Blackfly Chardonnay x2, snifter of thoroughly aged brandy, water purification pills, vodka martini, accidental cider)
- 2 of which are good quality (shot of blackberry schnapps, lavawater)
This gives me roughly a 5% drop chance for booze per combat, with 25% of all booze drops being good quality. Has anyone gotten a better quality booze than good? I was in Aftercore when I tested this, so it may not drop Standard restricted booze while in a Standard run? --RobuxShooters (talk) 16:28, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
- Added my drops above. So far, none of us are seeing better than good quality. Anecdotally, I also had drop rates of around 5% at weights between 20 and 35 lbs.--Prestige (talk) 22:51, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
Good is FAR from the best it can bring: I've just had him bring me a Perfect cosmopolitan, and I am STILL in ronin (so, yeah, I can't even use it); if anyone demands proof, have a look at this screenshot p.s. no one realized I posted that it dropped a 5-hour acrimony?? --Fredg1 (talk) 00:17, 21 October 2018 (UTC)
- I hadn't noticed you posted 5-hour acrimony above. Still, the two drinks you mentioned are the only awesome or better drinks observed here. So it seems like the drops favor lower quality drinks. I'll try to do some more spading in the future. --Prestige (talk) 06:55, 29 October 2018 (UTC)
OK, I ran more turns. Each was 100 fights, done on different days:
- 100 fights, 25 lbs.: 5 drops (ice-cold fotie, salty dog, ice-cold Sir Schlitz, Imp Ale, tomato daiquiri)
- 100 fights, 25 lbs.: 4 drops (slap and tickle, premium malt liquor, McLeod's Hard Haggis-Ade, bilge wine)
- 100 fights, 40 lbs.: 4 drops (ice-cold Willer, shot of blackberry schnapps, salty dog, bloody beer)
- 100 fights, 50-55 lbs.: 8 drops (ice porter, cruelty-free wine, McLeod's Hard Haggis-Ade, dusty bottle of Pinot Noir, Green Manalishi, slip 'n' slide, open sauce, ducha de oro)
- 100 fights, 95 lbs.: 3 drops (redrum, papaya sling, open sauce)
It looks safe to conclude that weight does not affect drop rate, which appears to be 5%. Also, I still have not seen any drink better than good quality. --Prestige (talk) 06:02, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
Same as unremarkable duffel bag?
I suspect it just drops the same items as the unremarkable duffel bag would, given that they're both from the same zone.
Interestingly, I had a booze collection quest for the premium malt liquor, and the party mouse conveniently dropped one of those. Couldn't run more turns to get more drops, but it makes me suspect they share the same item pool to work with. --Volc (talk) 03:32, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
