Talk:Peeled Eyeballs
This is +item drop, and -something else. --Suraimu 15:54, 27 March 2006 (CST)
Possibly an initiative penalty? --MazMedias 16:23, 27 March 2006 (CST)
+item%
From my testing in the beanbat cave with a 30pound gravy fairy (+75% items) and peeled eyedrops sometimes a bean would not drop. This puts the effects of peeled eyedrops at less than +25%
Using a baron's monocle(+10%) I then couldn't get a bean to not drop over the course of a couple of hundred adventures. Using a miner's helmet(+5%) instead got a small rate of bean's not dropping.
This implies a +15% item rate.
Synobi, what data do you have to support a +40% item rate?--D0om 19:45, 19 April 2006 (CDT)
- I would have to agree that 40% is a bit ridiculous, 15 or 20% sounds much more reasonable.--SomeStranger (Talk | Contribs) 21:52, 19 April 2006 (CDT)
-meat%
It seems somewhat unlikely that the meat penalty is 16%, given the fact that almost all other bonuses from effects are multiples of 5%. Was this value properly spaded, or was it just determined from a few dozen rounds of combat? --Quietust 10:36, 6 June 2006 (CDT)
- Still no response, so I'll ask again - is there sufficient evidence to support that the meat penalty is actually 16% and not 15% or some other value? --Quietust 15:33, 27 June 2006 (CDT)
- I've tested this and found the following individual meat drops, with +66% meat bonus and peeled eyeballs in the beanbats: (48,49,40,46,45,51,52,56,54). This definitively shows the meat bonus is 20.00%, not 15%. Whoops! This is my comment, I just forgot to sign it a while ago.--QuantumNightmare 16:56, 10 August 2007 (CDT)
