Talk:Pet Cheezling

From A KoL Wiki

Fondue slithers around the maypole, burbling with excitement.--Noskilz 00:55, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

Tam:" Fondue burbles happily and waves a pseudopod at you while getting orange glop on your Tam." wax lips: "Fondue grins at you with the wax lips stuck in... well, it. Maybe you should take those away before they dissolve."--Noskilz 01:03, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

Spading

The cheezling is not a normal whelp. At one pound, I got 23 HP and 20 MP after a battle. Will update with more info. --Irregular 07:07, 10 March 2010 (UTC)

  • More data (activation seems normal, so not counting that)(Weight - HP - MP): 2-18-19; 2-22-17; 2-14-24; 3-16-15; 3-27-17; 3-27-16; 3-24-25; 4-17-28; 4-29-28; 4-20-25; 4-27-15; 4-23-28; 5-26-21. I'll get more later, but I'm thinking Weight/2-Weight + a huge randomized constant. --Irregular 07:31, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
  • Even more data: 6-29-31; 7-17-29; 7-19-17; 7-24-32; 7-27-20; 7-17-17; 7-24-19; 7-25-24; 8-16-29; --Irregular 07:27, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
  • Some more data! (Weight - HP - MP)

6-18-19; 7-27-20; 7-21-16; 7-28-32; 7-30-26; 7-29-31; 7-19-19; 7-26-21; 8-18-17; 8-17-20; 9-29-32; 9-21-25; 9-23-28; 10-26-29; 10-18-28; 10-25-20; 10-24-21; 10-25-32; 10-32-31;

Not seeing much of a pattern there...

Summary of Sauceror numbers: (assuming HP and MP use the same formula)

More numbers!! (and added them to above table) 10-27-34; 10-19-26; 10-20-31; 11-25-28; 11-30-26; 11-27-28; 11-30-26; 12-29-27; 12-24-33; 12-19-36; 12-35-26; 12-30-33; 12-32-24; 12-37-21; 13-32-19; 13-38-25; 13-32-27; 13-30-25; 13-33-30; 13-34-20; 13-36-27; 13-23-31; 13-32-34; 13-25-27; 13-26-26; 14-29-20; 14-34-26; 14-31-23; 14-27-37; 14-19-37;

Maybe (Weight+25) as maximum? --RikAstley (forgot time), 19 March 2010 (UTC)

Again, more numbers. 14-23-30; 14-35-38; 14-24-29; 14-33-27; 14-25-30; 14-24-19; 14-27-35; 15-27-35; 15-24-34; 15-24-27; 15-21-33; 15-39-21; 15-30-26; 15-21-34; 15-22-35; 15-40-24; 15-32-20; 15-36-40; 15-31-33; 15-35-39; 15-33-33; 15-28-26; 15-37-29; 15-37-20; 15-28-24; 15-38-35; 15-27-35; 15-21-40; 15-39-20;

Seems like Weight + (5-25). I'll put that on the page. --RikAstley (forgot time), 20 March 2010 (UTC)

Unfortunately, I think we're looking at two different formulas. Using the Cheezling as a TT, (versus S, where my data was gathered), I got 6-6-6 on a combat. While activation seems the same, the values are very different. Current hypothesis: Standard whelp for non-S, super-whelp for S. If this is true, then all Nemesis familiars will need to be studied in this light. --Irregular 05:55, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

Interesting note! I'm using the cheezling on a S, by the way. Also, more data:

16-35-27; 16-40-25; 16-20-21; 16-35-26; 16-31-36; 16-26-39; 16-33-33; 17-30-34; 17-39-31; 17-25-36; 17-41-25; 17-24-22; 17-33-30; 18-22-39; 18-24-37; 18-32-25; 18-37-40; 18-30-26; 18-26-39; 18-25-23; 18-32-30; 18-24-39; 18-24-38; 18-33-39; 18-22-31; 18-22-33; 18-24-27; 18-42-23; 19-41-30; 19-31-35; 19-41-25; 19-30-28; 19-37-23; 19-41-31;

What it's doing

Hmm.. Okay, so, looking at the numbers, it most definitely looks like a (weight + 20) pound Ghuol Whelp for Saucerors, and just a regular Ghuol Whelp for other classes. This is probably what's going on with all of the Nemesis familiars, in that they are (weight + 20) <Familiar Type> for their class, and just a regular <Familiar Type> for other classes. --RoyalTonberry 22:03, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

Arena ratings info

At 16 pounds, 27 item Scavenger Hunt and 46s Hide & Seek. At 17 pounds, knocked out a 13 pound Mosquito in 13 rounds, then in 18 rounds. --Johnny Treehugger 16:51, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

Possible Ref

Although this is clearly meant to be a "cheez" sauce blob, the image makes me think of goldfish crackers which are that shape, and often have smiley faces on them (although facing a different direction). Plus the standard variety is the same shade of fake-orange as "cheez". --Club (#66669) (Talk) 19:05, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
