"Serious Resistance to All Elements" hmm...ALL ELEMENTS?!?! That'd be sweet if it protected against shadow damage.--Dehstil (t|c) 22:57, 12 August 2006 (CDT)
Shadow/Bad Spelling
I removed the comment concerning those. I had considered rewriting it to read ""Serious Resistance to All Elements" offers no resistance to shadow or bad spelling damage.", because it's not an ambiguous trait at all, but on further thought, noting them here only enforces the incorrect idea that they are in fact elements. Really, they're only text tags to make the applicable fights more entertaining. Any sort of notes on them should be on the elements page, not every page that makes mention of elements in general.--Joeisme 20:43, 10 November 2006 (CST)
- ...not ambiguous? To whom? In fact, on the wiki, "the incorrect idea that they are in fact elements" has been in the documentation on elements for a long time now (at least somewhat). The enchantment description lacked specificity and the elements' mechanics and implementation had an oversight when referring to all elements; that oversight does not necessarily invalidate the definition of said "elements" as such in other contexts (such as combat text), so I wouldn't be so quick to say what you said. -hic- Also, if you check the history, that note has never been confirmed, but is quite likely.--Dehstil (t|c) 00:03, 11 November 2006 (CST)
Grammar
Based on Jick's occasional use of terribly unwieldly avoidances of ending sentences in prepositions, this description would end with "About how many things you put on your hands can you say that?" except that this would constitute a garden path sentence and confuse people more than Jick usually does Horsedreamer 21:49, 1 March 2007 (CST)
- My previous comment is also grammatically unwieldly. Horsedreamer 21:50, 1 March 2007 (CST)
